This is the last version of gaim which will work with GTK-1.2.
Enjoy it while the protocols still work...


Build Notes:

If built with the Amigo PkgBuild script, the following
patches are applied, in this order:
gaim-0.59.1-buffer.patch
gaim-0.58-can-2005-0472-woody.patch
gaim-0.59.9-long-url.patch
gaim-0.59.9-oldstatus_aim_away_message_substitution_buffer_overflow_fix.diff

The patches and are supplied with the RedHat enterprise SRPM.

Amigo disables gnome, artsc and screensaver to minimize dependencies.

If you want to build it as a gnome-applet use:
--prefix=/?? --enable-distrib --disable-artsc

The gaim.spec file in /usr/doc/gaim-0.59.9 is from RedHat also.
