Sample Vignettes

Oval Vignette Blended to the Background
You can use a vignette to blend an image into a background color. This can be very useful for preparing images for web pages <#if win> or for printing <#endif> . Just set the background color of the vignette to be the same as your web page background, or use white for printing.

Rectangular Vignette Blended to the Background
Here's the same effect with less fade using a rectangular vignette.

Double Vignette Used to Add a Border
By performing two vignettes on the same image, you can add a fuzzy border to image, and still have a background color that matches your web page. This is done by applying a vignette using your desired border color, then applying another vignette with the background color, and reducing the width by half.

Double Oval Vignette Used to Add a Border
Here's the same thing as above with an oval vignette.

Using Several Vignettes for Custom Effects
There are no limits to the number of vignettes you can add to one image. Using different combinations of colors and styles, you can use vignettes to dramatically change an image.
