This package provides support for typesetting Tamil
with the Omega system developed by John Plaice and
Yannis Haralambous.

Both teTeX and TeXLive are supported. TeXLive is highly
recommended as development of teTeX is now frozen,
and T.E. himself recommends using TeXLive.

Note: This version will not work with teTeX versions
before 3.

Installation
------------

On Linux systems just run:

	./install.sh

to install the base package.
Please see the documentation (doc/manual.pdf)
for configuring Yudit and installing
additional fonts.

On non-Linux systems, you will have to manually copy
all the files to to the proper locations on your
TEXMF tree and update the TeX filename database.
(Consult your local TeX Guru)
