UnixWorld Archive Area Files
Last updated: April 14, 1996
Files listed here are named relative to /published/unix-world
directory in the ftp.uu.net change-root environment directory
tree.
Files on this server may be older than those on our Web server:
. However, I'll try to update
this archive monthly.
Besides HTML-format files, we're also supplying plain-text
(*.txt) and compressed PostScript (*.ps.gz) versions of many
files. These other formats are produced using the "Save As"
function of Netscape-1.1N. The PostScript files were created
while viewing a document with "huge" point size of the default
(Times Roman) font.
After September 8, 1995 PostScript files were saved from
Netscape-2.0 using Times (Adobe) at 12 pts and Courier (Adobe) at
12pts typefaces. Starting January 1, 1996, articles will be
saved from Netscape-2.0 using 18-point New Century Schoolbook
(Adobe) and Courier (Adobe) fonts.
