Hi, just when I had decided I needed a IX3D Road Rocket for my PowerBook G3 I find that IX MICRO has disappeared from the Net. Everone that listed IX MICRO's Road Rocket PC Card last week has removed it this week. Does anyone have any idea where I can get the IX3D Road Rocket PC Card? Does anyone have one they would like to sell? Hi Guys, I'm hoping somebody can help me out with a question regarding memory. I'm looking at getting a 128mb module for my Powerbook G3/333 (bronze). This is what I would like to know: * Are there PC laptops which use SDRAM in an SO-DIMM slot like my Powerbook? * Can I buy a PC SDRAM memory module to use in my Powerbook? * If this is possible, what is the model number/code/name of the necessary 128mb chip? There is an enormous price difference: * PC 128mb chip - $230 (Australian Dollars) * Mac 128mb chip - $450 (Australian Dollars) Apples site states the following: Third-party RAM is compatible if it meets the following criteria: * 16, 32, 64, or 128 MB module (the PB G3 Series 1999 also supports a 256 module in the top slot). * 1.0, 1.25, 1.5, or 2.0 inches in height (1.0, 1.25, 1.5 in the lower slot). * 144-pin. * 100 MHz or faster. * 10 nanosecond or faster (a lower number is faster). * 3.3 volt (V) * Unbuffered, 64-bit wide, with Serial Presence Detect. Please CC me directly at info@monib.com aswell. Thanks, Monib -------------------------------- --Info-Mac-Digest-- End of Info-Mac Digest ******************************
