Lynx Distribution Site at ftp2.cc.ukans.edu

This is the primary distribution site of the Lynx WWW browser.  To download
Lynx look for available pre-compiled version of Lynx for your system, or 
download the source code distribution and compile Lynx on your site.

Pre-compiled versions:
	lynx<version>.<system>.exe.Z, or
	lynx<version>.<system>.exe.zip

        Instructions to install the pre-compiled versions are given in the
        INSTALLATION file.

	Note:  pre-compiled versions will be limited to those systems
	used at the University of Kansas (at least, those I can get 
	access to) and any that are contributed by the Lynx community.

Source code distributions:
	lynx<version>.tar.Z, or
	lynx<version>.zip

	Note: VMS version will contain the source distribution along with
	object files as these may need to be re-linked on your system.

All zip files have been successfully unzipped using UNZIP v.5.12.  If you
have problems unzipping any of our files with a different version of UNZIP, 
we have included source code for UNZIP v5.12 in the pub/lynx/unzip directory.

Once you have downloaded the source code for Lynx, read the file called
INSTALLATIONS for instructions on compiling, configuring, and installing
Lynx.
